There is some support in diag_smart.php for running smartd persistently that was activated in 2.3 (it was commented out on 2.2.x). It is pointing to the wrong script and should probably be integrated into the standard set of services, and have an "Enable" checkbox on the config tab for SMART, and be handled like any other service.

The e-mail test function doesn't work properly either, even when run manually, so it either needs fixed or removed.
