Description
When I did some tests and ran miniupnp on the VTI or GIF interfaces and then deleted those interfaces.
after some time I got kernel panic:

I tried more, but it's difficult to reproduce

There's been some activity around miniupnpd over on #7727. There's a new version built in now, wonder if this could have any effect here?

Hello,
I have crashes when switching interfaces off and on again. Especially when pimd is installed. That might be related (do not know).

I do have a reproducible bug when switching interfaces off and on. I did open FreeBSD Bugzilla – Bug 248243. I did add pfSense crash logging there.

Luiz, up to a couple of month ago, I had lots! of interface related stability problems (crashes). However, since a couple of month they seems to be gone. At least on my system.
