applied the patch but still not looking good(same). Does this require a system reboot?

No - make sure it's not a cache issue by testing in a private browser session.

I'm not able to reproduce it with the fix. How exactly are you testing? Perhaps the patch is not being applied correctly? To apply it:
  1. Enter https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/commit/7e461be2dcbba9ca47324d746cdd866d93311621 into the field URL/Commit ID.
  2. Set Path Strip Count to 4.
  3. Save, Fetch, Apply.
  4. Go to Services > Snort > Snort Interfaces.
  5. Test by stopping/starting the service using the Snort Status buttons.
  6. Test by hovering over the navigation tabs for Snort.

i removed the patch and re-applied and can confirm this is working.
The only change I made was to make path strip from 2 to 4 but don't think that should affect it.
In any case, it looks good.

Thank you Marcos
