Description
If you assign a GRE interface and set the IPv4 type to Static, and configure an address identical to the address on the GRE interface, the IP is removed from the interface and won't come back until the system is rebooted.
If you leave the IP type set to 'none', you can't add a gateway or set routes, so configuring an IP address is needed for full expected functionality.
If the IP assignment cannot be fixed and must be on 'none', we should detect that case and warn the user, and add a "dynamic" automatic gateway as is done for OpenVPN.
