IPsec tunnel description not displayed on status output
Added by Jim Pingle almost 12 years ago.

Description
The strongswan IPsec status output uses the internal name, e.g. conn2-2, and does not display the description entered by the user for the tunnel.
It would be very helpful to have that name displayed to save tracking down info and cross-referencing manually.

Applied in changeset commit:859a53045631abf3844efda55a3169186618746a.
Looks good to me. Might be nice to have the P2 descriptions in the Child SA list as well if it's not too much trouble.
- Status changed from Feedback to New
This apparently regressed since then, the description is currently shown as "(730)" where 'ipsec status' output shows:
con2[730]: ESTABLISHED 28 minutes ago, 9.4.6.2[9.4.6.2]...1.2.3.4[1.2.3.4]
- Assignee set to Ermal Luçi
- Status changed from New to Feedback
Should be fixed by commit:55d6f48bc8f5b24f0756e52a121b26c2a57fe186
- Status changed from Feedback to Resolved
