Description
The tailscale package needs to be updated with some degree of regularity.
Users are going about updating the package 'out of band' which in itself could be a security risk.
How often it gets updated (every plus release, every month) can be discussed internally but this package is becoming a liability.

Confirmed that pfSense 25.03 is using 1.80.0 package for Tailscale. Package 1.82.5 is available upstream. Marked as confirmed.

I'd say we should be syncing the package dependencies more often than we do. Version 24.11, which is the current stable release is stuck on 1.76 and the 25.03-BETA, which isn't even released yet, is also a few versions behind.
